Lead-free Tin Plating of PCBs / PWBs

August 3, 2009

Please really assist me. I have been roller plating my Printed circuit boards for over 22 years now and now we are not allowed to buy LEAD anymore here in New Zealand as that was what I used in a molten lead bath. PLEASE advise me what the best and easiest method would be to PLATE my PC BOARDS NOT USING LEAD ANYMORE ...... I have a variable power supply from 5 volts up to 18 volts 40 Amps and all the necessary containers to do the process I want to Chemically process the boards as it is now very messy and working with HOT LEAD is becoming dangerous please help.
Thank you
Respectfully yours

Without knowing any details, the best suggestion I can make is to use a commercially available tin sulphate bath.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
