Can anyone provide with a technical definition and / or a picture of Hard Chrome Plating defect termed "frosty Areas" as annotated in MIL DTL 23422 F, Section 3 paragraph 3.4.1. In addition, the likely cause of the anomaly and any applicable rework (industry standard wise) that can be done to remove this condition.
