Excessive E-coating sludge

Hi

I'm working in an automotive paint shop in Malaysia. I'm having problem ED paint accumulated like gel at my final DI water rinse(post e coat). This gel always get stuck at the nozzle and causing quality problem. This gel cannot be eliminated by using organic acid like acetic acid on eBay or Amazon [affil link] . Can someone suggest to me how to remove this gel and how to minimize this gel from occurring at my final DI water rinse

Please check the pH of the DI water tank. If the pH is high the small amount of carry over paint will 'gel'.

A very small quantity of pH controller is sufficient to drop the pH to acceptable level.

Hope this helps.
