Need rechrome of BMW plastic cycle parts

July 20, 2009

OK Finishing dude!
I have a BMW k1200 LTc, it has a few chrome over plastic pieces, no it is not painted, it is in fact what I believe copper and then chrome, as a piece began to come off and I thought I would spray it but I had to remove the chip first, lo and behold, I tore off a large piece and it was more like pulling the aluminum from a soda can.
Anyhow, here is a picture of equivalent parts, not a good one and no not a picture of my bike, but where it shows the K1200 and LT on the opposite side, that is the said part.

So to fix it, what would you guestimate, and if your price is good enough, I can ask at the KLT touring community if you can post your name there to send alot more your way, because BMW's prices are ridiculous.
