Darkening of brushed nickel address numbers

I am trying to color match exterior brushed nickel address numbers to my porch (exterior)
lights and fixtures. I haven't been able to find brushed nickel numbers that match. The ones I purchased are quite a bit lighter. The numbers are all metal no plastic. Is there anyway to darken the numbers to match?
