Hi I am to decide which is better: more than 200 grams/sq. mtr or 100 grams/sq. m galvanising... which is better and why.

wire being used is 2 mm or 2 mm ± 0.5 mm

Hi, KP. The trite answer is that 200 grams/sq. m is twice as thick as 100 grams, and should afford something like twice as much corrosion resistance. The non-trite answer is that nothing is ever 'better' than anything else except in as much it scores better against a carefully constructed list of desired properties and you haven't given us that list yet :-)
