Gold Plating Voltage setup for memory module (RAM)

My current voltage setup for gold plating rework on memory module is 5 - 6VDC, but the memory component voltage is specified lower (DDR2 = 1.8V and DDR3 = 1.5V); will gold plating voltage impact the memory module? Please advise!
