Which is better in acidic environment? SS 316 or SS 316L ?

In Acidic environment, What is the MOC of bolt/nut/washer that can be used? We are in a dilemma of Choosing SS 316 over SS 316L. Can anyone give me the correct answers with valid reasons.

Hi, Immanuel. For fasteners I doubt that you will see any difference. My understanding is that the value of 316L is in its ability to be welded without reducing its corrosion resistance.
