Small Tank Air Sparging

I am designing a lab-scale Titanium Anodizing system for a customer, and down to the devilish details. I want to put in some simple adjustable rotameters (Dwyer RMB-type, or equivalent) to control and measure flow on the air sparge in the degrease, anodize, and final rinse tanks. Tanks are small, 14"x10"x10" deep. What I'm looking for is a flow range for the CDA into those tanks. Is it based on the footprint, or the volume, or...?

Any help would be appreciated.

Typical designs size the blower with a capacity of 2 scfm/square foot of surface area, and have a valve to throttle it to a lower flow rate. It's usually possible to adjust the flow by eye, and meters are not necessary.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
