Finishing surfaces on NiTi implants for osteosynthesis

My name is Denis Jardim Villarinho, I'm researching NiTi alloys to use as bone staples, my job is a dissertation master degree, of material sciences, in UFRGS, University, Brazil. I would like to know what is the best finishing surface for NiTi working with bone interface without lost its remarkable conditions of shape memory alloy and superelasticity inside the body.
