-----Corrosion Resistant Plating for Cold Rolled Steel
I need to specify corrosion resistant plating for mounting brackets made from .090 thick cold-rolled steel. The brackets contact one another and are used outdoors. Galvanized parts are too rough and prevent smooth rotation. I have used ASTM B633 electroplated zinc, type III, service condition SC3, .0003 thick with clear chromate conversion in the past, but several parts "rusted" after a few months outdoors.
