Artist needs powder coated finish attracted by a magnet

Would it be possible to powder coat a hardened 2 part epoxy resin? How magnetic does Powder coating make the object?

I am trying to make an epoxy sculpture that has a heating point up to 300 centigrade attractive to a magnet. Like metal, with a metallic finish. The scuplture needs to be water proof and light enough to span a distance of 6' with a very powerful magnet. I appreciate your advice-

You have a few problems to overcome.

2 part epoxy is a liquid or paste that cures to a fairly inert solid. You could produce a powder from this and possibly coat it but there would be no adhesion. Why not coat it as a liquid and cure it on the base.

It would be simple to add iron powder or ferrite to the mix

I would not expect an epoxy to withstand 300C for more than a very short period without degrading badly. Possibly a silicone resin would be better.

When heated, ferromagnetic materials have a critical temperature where they cease to be magnetic - look up 'Curie Point'

Hope this helps. Good luck
