Repairing patina on bronze and brass

I have a small spot on a patina'd door panel that was accidentally polished (patina removed). The door panel is bronze. Is there a chemical or something I can apply to patina this area again? If unusual, Is there a website where I can purchase this chemical/material?

Hello, A. We frequently mention a particular book on these pages which includes color plates and formulas for hundreds of different patinas. There may be almost as many patinas as paint chips :-)

But two general possibilities include a general brownish-blackish tint which can be obtained with liver of sulfur [on eBay or Amazon] , and a greenish-blue that can be obtained with Jax Patina [affil links]. Good luck.
