-----Etch or Anodize aluminum nameplate, which one is suitable for winter salt environment?
Can anyone help me to provide the differences between them in chosing which one is better for winter salt environment? Where the etching aluminum nameplate or anodizing aluminum name plate is prefer to, how about the price, durability and any comments.

Is this decorative etching? Etching gives zero corrosion protection (& may even worsen corrosion), and should be followed by anodizing. 25 microns anodize thickness is reasonable for most exterior applications.
