I don't think you should start building the plant yet, Prashant. Presumably you have a customer in mind who wants galvanized wire. Can you find out from them whether they want hot dipped, cold galvanized, or zinc electroplated wire? Books on each of these technologies fill whole shelves or aisles of technical libraries so it is obviously difficult to summarize the technologies in a paragraph or two. But, in general, electrogalvanizing is thin but inexpensive and attractive whereas hot dip galvanizing is heavier and more corrosion resistant. Cold galvanizing is essentially zinc-rich paint.

The Electroplating Engineering Handbook [on AbeBooks or eBay or Amazon] is probably the single volume best suited to introducing zinc plating to someone like yourself who is planning to build an electroplating plant, Prashant.
