Sculptor wants advice on Distressed Mirror Finish for Aluminum

I am part of a design team working on a sculpture we want to have a "distressed" mirror plated/annodized finish. We are hoping to encourage peeling, blistering and corrosion to give the surface the look of a very old object in disrepair. I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to achieve this effect and recommendations for processes and materials. The sculpture is being constructed from Aluminum sheet, in 3/4" and 1/8" thickness.

You can spray (2-4 times every day )it with 5-10% baking soda [on eBay or Amazon] and kitchen salt mixture (25/up to 50/ gm soda+25/up to 50/ gm salt+ 1 lit water).Try it on some aluminum scrap.Hope it helps and good luck!
