Painter needs clear sealer for life size statues

What would be the best way to protect statues made out of fiberglass and painted with house paints? they are life size animal figures. I think they are fine the way they are but the owner wants a sealer on them.
any Ideas?

Check with someone in a sign shop in your area and see what they use as a clearcoat. Sign shops must use a clearcoat that will withstand outdoor temps, etc. Also check online for under sign painting supplies.
