Removing copper and tin plating

Hello,

We do copper plating on zinc alloy then tin plating . Then we do copper plating on that tin plating. The problem is that sometimes we need to remove the platings, and acqure the zinc alloys to reuse the zinc alloy again. Can you tell me what should be done to remove first the copper plating from the tin plating and then tin plating from the copper plating and then copper plating from the zinc? Thanx.

All you need is nitric acid first to strip the copper and tin then muriatic acid for zinc this will work perfectly on all ss types will not work for regular steels, for steel you can ether glass bead blast do not use aluminum oxide it is to hard, or if you have a caustic soda based cleaner ⇦liquid caustic soda in bulk on Amazon [affil link] , reverse the plating technique but it might take some time.
