Nickel Plating Fecralloy Foil

Hi,
I work at a R&D facility as an ME. A lot of what we do involves vacuum brazing of stainless steels. Right now I'm looking for a way to nickel plate stainless foil. It can be either electroless or electro plate. The foil is .002" thick Fecralloy. Fecralloy is an aluminum(5.3%) and iron(73%) containing Stainless steel. My target plating thickness is .0002"-.001". I found a facility that can make the plating stick but the problem is that as soon as the foil is moderately bent the plating cracks and falls off. So my question is: Is it possible to have nickel plating that is as flexible as the annealed foil or am I chasing a ghost.

I think you are chasing a ghost, although some nickel plating is more flexible than others. If I can ask, is there a reason you can't simply use electroformed nickel foil?

We currently use Inconel 600, but we are looking for a lower cost replacement.
