ECD of Titanium

I am a Mfg Engineer and I am working on machining parts for a product. I am having difficulty with the machining process in that their is a burr on the thread at the beginning of and at the end of the thread. I have tried every deburring way possible. I feel that ecd is my only cost effective way out I think. Is it possible with Titanium, can it be Electro-Chemical Deburred?

Martin,

I have received your email question, and yes, titanium can be deburred electro-chemically or chemically, depending on the limits on temperature of electrolyte, environmental issues, requirements on surface quality. If you do not care about mirror finish, you can skip electropolishing by simply deburring titanium.

Contact us with your requirements, removal rate, speed of removal, etc. We will select the most appropriate method of deburring.
