CPVC Temperature Ranges
My name is Mr.Lynn Ruona and I work for a sheet metal HVAC company located in Allen Park, Mi Just outside of Detroit.
We are working on a large GM Engine Testing Lab in Pontiac, Mi.
The combustion air duct for the engine intakes calls for PVC with a temperature range of -65 degrees F. to +250 degrees K.
What are the ranges for CPVC ? What other material can we use other than stainless steel?

Hi Lynn,
I'd forget plastics ... and CPVC, like PVC, gets damn brittle at lower temperatures and won't take, neither will even PVDF, the higher temperature.
Goest thou to what was used before, what others use ... Aluminium? Mild steel? ...and if expense is not a worry, then stainless.
