Machining before chromate conversion coating

A customer wants a Chemical Conversion Coating, Coat Per AMSC5541, Class 3. This is to be applied on 6061 T6. What machined surface finish should this part be machined to?

I does not matter; however, note that work hardened area will have a slightly different color.
