RoHS compliant alocrom

What is the most widely available RoHS compliant Alocrom process - is there a gold version or are they all silver coloured ?

Hello Andrew. Alochrom is a trade name, so you are asking something equivalent to "what is the most widely available Pepsi-Cola?" But all of the major manufacturers, and many smaller ones, offer RoHS-compliant chromate conversion coating for aluminum. Clear is the right color, the natural color, but some can be dyed. The Mil-C-5541 approved coatings cannot be dyed. Good luck.
