Water spots on new car

Ok well I bought a new black Honda fit about a month ago. I realized that black would be hard to keep clean, however, I borrowed a Mr. Clean car wash hose attachment from my father-in-law hoping to give it a quick wash and be done with it. Well, there is a setting for a self drying rinse that when it dried formed small spots all over my car. I'm worried that I ruined my car's clear coat. I applied a wax to my car and thought this would prevent this sort of thing.
is there anything out there that will fix this?

I guess I'm missing something, but why don't you just wash it again? This kind of water spot, which is simply from the salt that is dissolved in tap water, should wash right off. Then wipe it down instead of letting the water and salt dry on it?
