Neutral Salt Spray Testing of Barrel Zinc Plated Fasteners

What sample size ( Number of units from a large number of lots. ) is to be used while testing small barrel plated components like fasteners. Wide variation has been observed in NSS test results. Is there in guide line available for determining sample size to get true representative sample from a large number of loads. It is difficult to conclude due to variation in results.
Thanks.

You can use ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Sampling Size Standard to approve lots.
