-----Degreasing alternatives
I am in a small group at the University of Bradford and we have been given an assessment to find out which method of degreasing would be better than using trichloroethylene. If you could help us out we would greatly appreciate it.

Better in what ways, Andrew? There are substitute solvents like n-propyl bromide, and there are alternate methodologies like aqueous cleaning.
The U.S. EPA has funded almost countless reports on this. So start at epa.gov.
