Method for Applying Epoxy Powder Paint in Bulk

2007

We are looking for a Method for applying Epoxy Powder Paint in Bulk for small parts as part of a plant expansion/services.

Can we apply electrostatic powder paint in bulk? We know about the Dip Spin process, but this is for wet paint. We've heard about different processes as Hot Barrel painting and Tumble Coating but we don't know the basics about these processes.

What is the best recommended process for this application? Can we suggest Liquid Epoxy paint as an alternative?

Thanks for your guidance.

The best method to powder coat small components on a large scale is - you must have a mono-rail system that passes through the spray booth and baking oven and back to the loading station. The next and very important is the jig design - a good design would be like an inverted Christmas tree. This allows for many items to be coated that are placed on to the one jig - whilst the jig itself is only hanging from one point on the mono-rail. You may require two powder guns - one on opposite sides of the booth - track speed will depend upon oven length and efficiency.
