Hazards associated with manufacturing of paints

2007

I want to know about all possible hazards associated with the manufacturing of Paints,
Fire hazards in Paints industry, and probable preventive measures to be taken in detail.
I'll be thankful if you help me in comprehensive way.

Gautam Pant
Employee - Kolkata, West Bengal, India

Your employer should educate you in the hazards that you personally face, Gautam. Although a comprehensive education in all the safety issues involved in paint manufacturing would require at least a 4-credit college course, you might find "Workers At Risk: Voices from the Workplace" helpful if a local library has it, and "Environmental, Safety, and Health Engineering" has received great reviews. Good luck!
