-----Sculptor needs to oxidize sprue area of aluminum casting
I am a sculptor and have made an aluminum casting. I have cut off the sprues and have chased the area where the sprue entered the sculpture to match the texture of the sculpture, however the surface is shiny, The sculpture has the original oxide surface from the casting process and I would like to match the surface. Any suggestions?

Air blast with coarse sand or better with aluminum oxide.
