-----Silicone oil as anti rust
Can we use silicone oil as anti rust oil for steel metal parts as it is known to resist oxidation.

I have never seen silicone oil used for anti rust.
Two reasons
1/ It is very expensive
2/ It is extremely difficult to remove. If the parts have to be welded, plated or painted, there will be adhesion failures.
Since this will only be discovered long after the material was oiled, it will be a very expensive problem.
Your local oil supplier should be able to recommend a suitable anti rust material.
If you want to be really popular, discuss the problem with the end user and be sure that their cleaning procedures can remove what you put on.

I would suggest to use a rust converter ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] . when applied on prepared it kills rust, forms a dark firm when dried. One can apply any top coat.
