Keeping yellow gold...yellow

Is there any trick to keeping my 22 katat yellow gold ring as yellow as possible?

Hi Stacey,
If the ring is true 22K gold there should be no problem with it remaining yellow. As you know it should be 22/24ths pure. If it is 22K gold electroplate the best coating I know of is an electrophoretic coating or a clear coat. Some people have tried a few coats of clear nail polish, but has to be stripped and re-applied every so often. Good Luck!
