I am a university student, actually I'm going to do immersion silver plating onto copper for my project paper. but, I couldn't find the right/best composition of the silver bath solution. If anyone can help me, it will be greatly appreciated. Is there anyone point me in the right direction? If possible I would like to know the composition, and/or a reference point for me to build up on..TQ

Hello again, Aisha. To my knowledge any simple salt which contains silver will immersion deposit on copper according to the Nernst equation. And practical experience says that even complexed silver in a traditional cyanide based silver plating bath will immersion deposit. Again, as for the "best", I'm sure that all ten on the brands on the page I previously mentioned claim to be the "best". Part of your project probably could be to define what parameters and qualities constitute the "best".
