Refinish Aluminum A/C control yoke

I have an aluminum yoke from my Mooney A/C that needs to be refinished. It has the remnants of a glossy black finish covering about 75% of its surface. The remaining 25% is down to bare metal.

What would you recommend for preparation prior to finishing and what paint or coating would you recommend to restore a durable black glossy finish?
