Is galvanized iron need to be paint? What paint?

We are in the building construction and we are now putting support for the shaft, using galvanized iron. My question is, do I need to paint it?

Galvanized metals are not usually painted, Marvi. But I don't think anyone here can tell you whether the particular item you are referring to was supposed to be painted 🙂
