-----Zn plating RoHS compliance
Zn plating with yellow passivation is treated as RoHS non compliant process where as Zn plating with Blue passivation is accepted for ROHS.
I would like to know the reason behind this.

You'll need to post the actual details of your situation rather than vague references to it to get a good answer, Anand, but hexavalent chromium is non compliant and some chromate conversion processes use hexavalent chromate. Good luck.
