Aluminium white rust

I am doing a project work at scl, India. Our objective is to eliminate white rust formation in a machined casting. Could you help our team by suggesting approaches , if possible solutions for the following
what is white rust composition?
when does white rust occur?
ways of eliminating rust permanently?
what are all possible factors for occurance of white rust after machining?

Your problem is probably made worse by using the wrong cutting fluid or by using tap water in a water based cutting fluid.
Nothing is permanent except death.
Consider chem film or anodize as possible solutions.
