What problems do you get when anodising 2014 alloy (T651) and dyeing it black ?

IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH PITTING WITHIN THE ALLOY AFTER ANODISING IT, AND WHAT CAN I DO TO PREVENT THIS HAPPENING OR IS THIS JUST A POOR ALLOY TO ANODISE?
