-----Is Viking-era arsenical bronze safe to wear?
Hi, I have purchased a piece of viking bronze jewelry and have been lead to believe that the vikings made arsenical bronze, can any one tell me if it would be safe to have arsenical bronze in contact with my skin daily? and if not, would a clear powdercoat be a viable option to protect myself? the item is a thin, cast bronze neck torque from the 8th century, also would I be able to cold work some small shape deviations out of it? of would it have to be annealed?
