How does US 10B wear on a building exterior?

I am an Architect and have a project that the aluminum door pulls that were specified as US10B are wearing. The bronze finish is wearing off in less than one year on doors that do not get much use. Is this normal? What should this finish look like in one year?

US10B bare or lacquered will corrode very fast. I suggest that you put clear powder coat over the US10B finish.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
