Use of titanium as plating anode

For plating inside a bore of length approx. 10' , can titanium anode be used?

Hi Ramesh.

In certain cases,Yes.But make sure bare anode(auxiliary) does not touch on the sides of the tube(cathode)which may cause short circuit. You may mask it with cloth.
But please be specific about your bath and what you are doing to get a specific answer from an open forum like this!
Regards.

It will work in some and not in others. What are you plating?

James Watts

Hello Ramesh,
What type of plating are you doing? In most cases Ti can be used as an anode for primary or auxiliary applications. Good Luck!
