How to smooth/eliminate scratches on stainless steel farberware frying pan

My Farberware frying was recently scratched in a clean up attempt by my teenager. Food now sticks to the surface all the time. Can I refinish it? resurface it? who can do this? Anyone? Need help. This has been my best frying pan for 35 years. I do not want to throw it away.

I have to presume that the pan is non stick. If so the best thing you can do is replace it.

I have the same frying pan. No it is not non stick and I am wondering the same thing. Do you think I can use a hand sander on it? to smooth it out? it is a large Farberware Chicken Fryer and no, I don't want to discard mine either. Any suggestions?

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
