My silver trumpet is tarnishing

Here in South Carolina I have a silver plated trumpet, which I've had for 2 years. And it's tarnishing, and fast. What should I do, and is there a way to fix this prblem without having it re-plated?

Short of having it replated, you could polish it with silver polish and lacquer it. Good luck.
