Teflon coating a glue roller to keep the glue from sticking?

Need to know if it will work on a glue roller.

Hi Gerhart

Um... coating the roller? Nah. Too difficult and expensive.

What about getting some TFE rod of the same size and diameter of your roller? Yes, it's available ! Go to a plastics supplier (rather than a fabricator) and if they don't know, ask them to give you names of 'others'. In our neck of the woods it's Cadillac Plastics.

There are some hollow shapes, i.e., tubing/piping, but I'd opt for the solid rod.

Good answer Freeman - a bit of simple lateral thought goes a long way!
