Conditions of reaction between steel surface and molten zinc

2006

Dear Sir,

Kindly, according to my humble information any reaction must be done under constant factors so, I want to know the value of each factor effects on this reaction in hot deep galvanized steel as follow:-

Conditions of reactions standard
1- Temperatures of steel ....................
2-Temperatures of Zinc Molt. ....................
3- Percentage of elements in Zinc pot. ....................
4- Time of reaction ....................
5- Amount of Al (gm/m—) ....................
6- Amount of contamination (gm/m—)
on the surface of steel before the reaction "....................
7- Chemical composition of sheet steel ....................
8-Finishing Temp. ( Cooling temp.) ....................

If there are other factors effect on this reaction please mention it and its value.

THANKS FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

Hello Abdel. Our readers have shown a generous propensity to share some tips, but I think it's unrealistic to expect someone to unidirectionally transmit to you for free, over the internet, the whole technology of optimization of all galvanizing conditions. My suggestion is for you to fill out that chart you left blank and resubmit it. Then perhaps a generous reader may say something like "I think your steel temperature is too cold by a few degrees" or "I don't think you can allow quite that much aluminum". Good luck!
