Choosing tube mill lubricant for pregalvanized steel

I'm investigating for a lubricant which can be used on both the hot rolled and pre-galvanized steel on my tube mills. Prior to the mix of the products, I used a semi-synthetic lubricant on the hot rolled steel and it ran great.

If you have a mix of galvanised and aluminium then a fully synthetic product would be the best bet. A product based on a combination of low MW Polyalkylene glycol with different cloud points, but without the ferrous corrosion inhibiting additives. Wetting agents would be recommended to give the spread required on the sheet.
I suggest you look at sheet metal lubricants used in the CNC punching nibbling area for the type of product you may require.
