FDA approved powder coat

I need to apply a cosmetic black finish to a aluminum die-cast part. The finish has to be approved for an in-mouth dental application. Any suggestions?

The FDA has testing guidelines for components that will be placed in contact with bodily fluids. Your regulatory affairs person should be able to get the test specification for you. I would be skeptical that a die-cast aluminum would meet the criteria.
