MY NAME IS GUNA WORKING IN A TWO WHEELER MANUFACTURING CO. LOOKING AFTER THE PRODUCTION OF PETROL TANKS. EARLIER WE WERE USING UNCOATED SHEETS FOR MAKING TANK BY DOING SPOT WELD AND MASH SEAM WELDING PROCESS.
AT PRESENT WE ARE FACING PROBLEMS IN MASH SEAM WELDING OF GALVANNEALED ZINC COATED SHEETS.THE AREA ADJACENT TO THE SEAM WELDED ZONE GETS CRACKED DURING THE FORMING AND PIERCING OPERATION (NOT IN THE WELD BEAD) DONE AFTER SEAM W/D.

I WANT TO KNOW FROM YOU THE IDEAL CONDITION FOR RESISTANCE MASH SEAM WELDING GALVANNEALED SHEETS?
