How to keep nickel electroform bright in long term use?

2006

My factory is doing electroforming business. We have one project now that require the nickel plate to be coated with some kind of materials that will keep the nickel surface brightness and shiny and keep the whole nickel plate for as long as it could be. My questions are:

1.What kind of material that you would suggest for coating the nickel plate and still see the brightness of the surface of the nickel plate?

2. How can I keep the nickel plate from the corrosion of the sun light and rain? The nickel plate have to place outdoor under the sunlight and rain.
