-----Corrosion protection and electrical conductivity of magnesium die cast alloy substrate
I am trying to find a suitable metal finishing process on magnesium die cast alloy that will provide suitable corrosion protection (336 hours to ASTM B117) and not impede electrical conductivity. Any suggestions?

Electroless nickel plating is one possibility.

Thanks for the response of electroless nickel plating as a possibility. Unfortunately, testing of ENP did not achieve the desired results. Galvanic corrosion was prevalent (large portions of the test parts were eaten away) as the nickel and copper underlayment made contact to the magnesium in the salt-fog chamber. Also, the thickness of ENP required to meet 336 hours makes in economically not attractive.
