Oxidizing laser engraved jewelry

I'm trying to blacken laser engraved sterling silver jewelry. Not too sure how to go about doing this, any ideas?

Do you want to blacken the entire piece, OR only the laser engraved part OR all but the engraved part.
Step two for more help is to search this site with blacken, silver and then patina as a second choice. It has been generally discussed several times.
After the search, if you still have specific questions, come on back and we will try to help.

You can use 1-5 % liver of sulfur [on eBay or Amazon] /water solution(potassium polysulfide). Good luck!

I just need to blacken the laser engraved letters not the entire area.
